Generate an unfavorable, perhaps identifiable, nickname if the users nicknames are taken. [ADDED]

Add "Spread Peeko Chat" buttons a la firefox's advertising approach. So users can put them on there homepages. [ACCEPTED]

Filter #_ chans from LIST and WHOIS results. In addition, WHO on a nickname returns their last joined channel. Filter by Directory is not a bad idea, it just has a lot of potential for evil. [ADDED]
The plan to fix this is to make the #_ channels private or secret. So that they won't show up in the LIST or WHOIS. Any comments on which may be better would be appreciated. -Shane
Secret hides from WHOIS/LIST/WHO, so set mode +s when the NAMES replies for a #_ channel have @yournick. -Matt
A little choice of colors for text and background in the chatbox could be more user-friendly. Currently , white on black is much like the old console messages, and not so easy to read. [ADDED]
A toolbar button to enable/disable the toolbar.
A button or a hot-key, like, command-F7? A button seems a little weird because you could only use it to hide. You couldn't toggle. -Shane
